Hello! My name is Kayla and I am a 19-year-old with lots of experience and passion when working with individuals with special needs. Since I was 10 my mother started working in our home with an adult with special needs 3-5 days a week. I have grown up seeing the highs and lows of somebody with special needs (but mostly the high). I go to friendship group with my mom's client where we socialize and worship with other people from the Barber Center. My passion grew stronger then and I began to attend the dances that they held too. For 3 years I worked in childcare where we did have children on the spectrum. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have all of my clearances. I have my own means of transportation as well. I hope to hear from you!
