I work as a paraprofessional in a local school district and during this time of mostly virtual contact I would love to offer social and academic support to people with disabilities who are missing out on that person-to-person connection. I have been caring for people with special needs since I was a young teenager working with individuals at different camps and participating in Unified Sports. As an adult, I started the Special Olympics team in my town and work every day to make our community more inclusive.
