Working with individuals with special needs brings with it a host of unique challenges and opportunities. The children I work with make every day fulfilling, and I know my work is making a positive impact and helping each individual to grow, gain skills and work towards independence. When you work doing something you love, you pore yourself into your job. If I could only share one thing with the parents of the children I will be caring for I would like you to know; I hold no judgment, and I will be patient.
