I am the second oldest girl in a family of six. I have four younger brothers who I helped care for growing up (age gap from me ranging from 2-14 years). I often babysat growing up both my own brothers and the children of family friends (1-3 children at a time). Though I have experience babysitting at a young age, I find my most notable experience to come from working at an autism center in Brigham City, Utah for 18 months. In the time that I worked at this center, I primarily worked with kids ranging from ages 3-7 years of age but also gained experience working with children all the way up to 17 years of age. We aided in social, academic, hygienic, and many other behaviors depending on the child's individual needs. I gained my registered behavior technician certification (or RBT which now requires an update) in order to help facilitate therapeutic services for those with autism as well as some mental illnesses.
