I have over 5 years experience providing companionship and home care to individuals with disabilities, elderly and those with special needs. Worked in group homes, private home setting and Assisted living community. In addition I have been a nanny for 8 years now. Worked with total care, the low function, non and limited verbal Autism, the narrow focus of interest, with seizures, developmental brain disorders, slight mental illness, dementia that tend to fall, challenges that require flexibility. Assist with all ADLs Personal care- bathing dressing, Incontinence care, Meal preparation and meal time supervision/feeding, house keeping tasks, laundry, medication reminders, assistance with transfers/walking. Certified for CPR, First Aid and AED. Took on line Residential Module Classes, for staff working with disabilities in their homes. Already done background check.
