Greetings! I would love to give you a window into my professional background. Throughout college I interned at clinical settings in Baltimore such as Kennedy Krieger Institute and Sheppard Pratt. These facilities specialized in child family therapy, neurobehavioral challenges for young children, and crisis intervention with adults. After graduating with my Bachelors in science in Psychology, I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii, where I worked in a horticultural therapy program with young adults struggling with developmental differences or mental health distress. After nearly two years in this position, I transitioned to work in a residential therapy program in Oregon, caring for a similar population. In both young adult programs, I had extensive experience directly supporting individuals with various learning challenges to become more resilient and adaptive in their personal independence. Now I am embarking on my masters degree in social work at CSU!
