I have my Bachelor's degree in Social Work. My experience includes working with the elderly, developmentally disabled, mentally impaired, schizophrenic, bipolar, borderline, and depressed consumers. I love what I do and care for those I work with like they are family. I am CPR/First Aid certified and have been CNA trained. I have two beautiful girls, ages 16 and 20. My oldest daughter was valedictorian and is in her junior year at U of M. It will be a long time (HOPEFULLY) before I have grandchildren and I am yearning to love, hug, kiss, and play with kids again. I am very hands on and enjoy adventures, crafts, baking, cooking, exploring, parks, museums, and spoiling. I am looking for a long term commitment in a stable, happy environment. I have a wonderful, happy family and would like to become a part of yours. I will follow your wants and rules for your children as I can't imagine the stress of leaving your babies with someone that is not family. We rescue animals, so I am very comfortable with pets. I am willing to do tasks around the home to make your time with your children more accessible, but would like the majority of time open to focus on activities for your children. I don't believe in spanking and feel if I schedule enough activities, I am able to say, "If you don't listen, we won't be able to ____." If needed, I use time out, but for only a couple minutes. I know I couldn't sit in time out for my own age!!! I am loving and generous, compassionate, honest, and on time. I am proud of my achievements, but this is now my time to be fulfilled with what I do and loving and caring for children would truly make me happy.
