My name is Josie, and I am happy to care for your special children, including those with special needs. I am patient, caring, and kind, and I understand autism, ADHD, and behavioral problems more than most. I have ADHD myself, and I have plenty of experience caring for Autistic children and children with behavioral issues. Your children will find that I am reasonable but no-nonsense. There will be rewards for good behavior, and consequences for bad behavior, discussed with you and approved by you. I can be fun, friendly, and energetic, but also strict and firm when I need to be, and kids generally love the way I treat them like they're little adults-in-training. I never talk down to anybody, least of all children, though I know how to tailor my words and actions to be developmentally appropriate. I hope that, during an interview, I can show you my skills with children and make you feel like you have somebody in your corner!
