I have experience caring for children with Asthma, Autism, Diabetes, Epilepsy, food aversion, Cerebral Palsy, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Night Terrors. I have cared for my younger brother who has Asthma and Night Terrors by means of assisting with an inhaler and nebulizer, getting him back to sleep peacefully, and calming him down enough so that an attack does not happen. I have administered insulin to a person with Diabetes(type I) by means of an insulin pump as well as a Novo insulin pen. I have known many Autistic children and have helped their families on outings as well as at home. I know what to do in the case of a seizure and have knowledge of how to use a VNS Magnet on an epileptic person. I have knowledge of what can trigger a seizure and the best way to prevent those triggers. I also have assisted in getting children in and out of a wheelchair.
