I have always had a deep care for those with special needs. I am very open minded and understanding. I am currently going to school for special needs education, and I am excited to begin putting my learning to work. I have a few experiences with special needs children. When I was 12/13 I took care of my pastors autistic child who was about 2/3 years old. I continued to care for him until he was about 6, due to his family moving out of state. When I was 15, I babysat an autistic 5-year-old boy, and was he a handful, but I loved every second of it. I worked at a food court Chick-Fil-A and some special needs classes came for social field trips, and I was there to help them with their orders. I had always wanted to be a teacher, but it was then I realized I wanted to be a special needs teacher. This now brings me full circle to me being in college studying education and special needs. I look forward to getting to know you and your child(ren).
