I am the oldest child of 3 and I have a big-little brother who is on the spectrum, growing up with him has taught me so much as well as working with a plethora of other children on the spectrum at my other jobs the daycare and kids club. My brother was 13 going on 14 during 2020 and I was a sophomore in high school going through a health science career program, then Covid hit. As we were all in quarantine my younger brother developed an onset seizure disorder, he had 3-4 seizures back to back all within a week away from each other. I found him having all three and I knew exactly what to do and kept him safe. He's still with us and is just fine, maybe even more spunky than before. I deal with a wide range of children everyday, and I still continue to learn about them everyday. I'm very patient with them and I try my best to help them understand things in the best way possible for them as a person, but I also don't limit their abilities.
