I have an array of experience from working at two summer camps for children and adults with ALL abilities. I have experience at Creative Speech Solutions Camp Play and Learn where I worked as counselor for children with special needs. This job required hands on experience with low-functioning children, promoting language, social, and sensory skills. I also have experience through PALS Programs, an organization dedicated to giving young adults with Down Syndrome the chance to make transformative friendships and experiences with a one on one pairing system. These responsibilities included sharing a room, hygiene, meals, and bedtime. Lastly, I have a strong connection with children and animals and strive to be involved and learn more through my work experiences.
