My first assignment working with people with special needs was as a Direct Support Professional for a Residential Treatment Facility in Virginia. Since then, I have held other titles in the same field of study, such as Assistant Mental Health Professional (AMHP). I was promoted to the position of The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) which allowed me to then become the Head Supervisor for Stoney Kirk Girls Group Home in Fayetteville, NC. I specialize in compassionate care and positive play learning. I'm currently receiving my RBT Certification in Behavior Modification Techniques and an ABA Certification in Applied Behavioral Analysis . My primary focus has always been on children, teenagers, and the families of Individuals With Special Needs. I have extensive experience in dealing with many mental and emotional disorders and I still believe that with the proper treatment and support, your child or children will thrive in my care!
