I worked for New York City's Department of Education as a Special Education teacher for 34 years, retiring last year. Most of my experience has been with teaching individuals on the autism spectrum. Since then I have been working part time as a direct support professional for young adults with disabilities. My hobbies include lifting weights, bike riding and reading. For the past 10 summers I have worked as a volunteer for Gods Love We Deliver, packaging and delivering food for people in need. I am a highly positive, organized and energetic professional.
