Hello. I am Jackie and I have been a special needs caregiver for 23 years. I have been long term with a set of Rett syndrome twins, and my niece is middle spectrum autistic. I have worked with traumatic brain injury and a stroke in the womb that left her with seizures and no speech. I work with non-verbal, non-ambulatory, and seizures, and those who are simply dependent upon another person to survive. I like to be the person helping as that is who I am: a helper. I have administered oral and rectal medications, I have prepared the medications with the parent's consent. I will do light housekeeping, laundry, change the bed, baths, etc.. I am here to help and to give you assurance of a honest and dependable caregiver with excellent references. I am pet friendly, and I can even bring in a joke of the day to try to make someone laugh.
