Ivorie received her bachelor's' degree in special education from the University of Greensboro. Right after graduation, Ivorie began teaching for the School System, where Ivorie taught in a K-2 emotional disability classroom for one year and then transitioned into a K-2 intellectual disability classroom for her remaining 5 years in Wake County. Toward the end of teaching career, Ivorie decided that wanted to make an even more meaning impact for the special needs population, so Ivorie began M. Ed. program for Behavior Analysis and graduated in August 2018. Immediately after graduation, Ivorie began accruing hours as as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to obtain the certification to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In February 2020, Ivorie became Board Certified and started her journey as a BCBA in August of 2020. Ivorie currently works in an early learning clinic in Lanham, MD.
