Hi! My name is Isabella and I am a 20-year-old college student who is very passionate about working with individuals with special needs. In addition to growing up with a brother who has an intellectual disability, I have worked at a special needs sleep-away camp for the past 3 summers. My role included assisting campers with their daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom. I also engaged with campers in fun activities, ensuring they had a great experience. I developed strategies for managing behavior effectively and prioritized the wellbeing and happiness of the campers while closely monitoring their safety.
