Motivated social worker looking to provide personal support to your family member. I have 32 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in varying capacities: direct care, developmental and vocational training, case management, research, and advocacy. My experience in the field all these years has afforded me with an amassed knowledge of the resources and services in the greater Chicagoland area. In this capacity, I offer advocacy for your family member as they might be transitioning to new programming or housing. I am flexible and compassionate in my direct practice. I can provide respite, personal support, and instruction/assistance with activities of daily living. I possess patience and determination when it comes to my work with clients.
