I'd describe my personality as creative, friendly and adventurous. I like caring for people with special needs because I am a mom of special needs children and think all children deserve to have fun and be kids! :) I'm looking for a job that is flexible and can supplement a bit of our income while I also help another family out. I started caring for people with special needs when my oldest daughter became quadriplegic 14 years ago. In my spare time, I like to explore the forest, discover old homestead sites, learn about wild plants, hike, camp, read, play with my parrots, go to church and go on road trips and to museums with my kids. One thing you should know about me is I love to have fun and find creative ways to include my special needs children in exciting adventures. My skills include experience with wheelchairs, TPN pumps, feeding pumps and oxygen. I am calm in emergencies and can problem solve quickly and in creative and flexible ways, if needed.
