Hi my name is Gessie. Working with kids is my passion! I am a warm hearted, caring, and patient person. Since September 2019, I have worked as a respite care worker during after school hours for a nonverbal autistic girl. She is currently 13 years old. I assist her with dressing and toileting and daily living skills. I am familiar with communication devices (AAC). I am employed through an agency, Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI), and have cleared background checks and fingerprinting. I am comfortable with pets.
