Parents! Still looking for your full or part time forever caregiver, but you need more time? Hi! My name is Geralyn and I'd love to fill in while you look. I relocated to Rockford to be closer to family a year ago, and live here March-Dec. My previous position prior to moving was getting to care for a fun, loving, speech challenged teen girl who just happened to be autistic with WAGR syndrome. Best part of my day is just seeing how happy she was to see me! Being flexible with a special needs child is very important to me and depending on how their day is going, your child's activities are based on how well they are feeling. Some day's are quiet with reading, music, favorite shows, other days outside on walks, going to park, or jumping on the trampoline. I'm never opposed to light cleaning since I know caring for a special child can leave little time left in the day. It's important to me that parents know that child is cared for and loved in their absence.
