My name is Gabby and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. I also have six years experience in being a CPR and First Aid Instructor. My personal passions in engaging with children are in cultivating emotion regulation and intelligence skills; inspiring respect for self, others, and nature; honoring each child's right and innate ability to make guided decisions about their bodies and their lives; and building healthy, safe relationships and modeling interpersonal effectiveness. My approach to working with children I is grounded in a trauma-informed, conscious discipline framework. I meet each child where they are and I approach every interaction with children and co-workers with the following Social Work values in mind: the importance of human relationships; the worth and dignity of every person; social justice; service; and competence.
