Hello, my name is Erica! I'm 28 years old and I have been taking care of children with all types of disabilities since I was 14 years old. It's safe to say that I love what I do! Connecting with those who have special needs has always come easy to me and I actually get an amazing feeling of love and happiness and just an overall sense of purpose when they trust me to keep them safe and smiling. Over the years, I've cared for kids who have cerebral palsy, non-verbal autism, Down Syndrome, seizure disorders, and much more through my jobs as a nanny/tutor for twin girls with autism (10 years), a family support specialist for many children with various needs (4 years), and a caregiver for a boy with cerebral palsy, I am also college educated (no degree) and have my medical aesthetics licenses, as well as a couple online certifications in the special needs education field.
