Hi there! A little about myself: I have been a caregiver for 13 years. I first started off helping my mother take care of a dear friend of hers who was bed ridden with dementia. I realized I really loved caregiving and slowly broke off and started caring for clients of my own. I have experience dealing with quadriplegics, MS, Parkinson's, Down Syndrome, epilepsy, autism, low functioning individuals, oxygen tanks, feeding tubes, colostomy bags, incontinence, hygiene, and companionship. I am a national certified phlebotomist technician. I obtained my certificate in California. CPR & First Aid certified through American Red Cross. I have completed 1 year of Nursing School. I am currently working as a direct support professional/ Med Tech for adults with disabilities. I can't say enough about Erendira. She responded and accepted our need for a caregiver on extremely short notice. She went above and beyond of the care needed for our mom. For not meeting our mom before the night of the job, Erendira's flow and performance appeared that she had been taking care of our mom for awhile. Finding a caregiver to mesh with our mom sometimes has its challenges, but after seeing Erendira just jump in, I truly believe Erendira has the experience and professionalism to adapt and handle any situation. We will definitely and hopefully hire Erendira again.
