I have worked with children who have autism, speech delay, and mental disorders. All of them have seem to gravitate toward me. I do not yell and scream at them I get down to there level and talk one on one with them and have found out that works best for them. My one autistic child would throw stuff at me and I learned how to handle her when she gets aggressive. My speech delayed child we would cut out pictures and he would show me the picture and that's how we would communicate. My mental disorder child was a bit of a challenge as she had Hashimoto's. Over time I learned how to work with her. Every case with me has been trail and error. I learn and adapt quick when it come to special need kids. I've been a nanny for almost 5 years now. I am CPR certified and have first aid training. I have my own car a 2010 Malibu. I have no problem with pets I love animals as I have 2 animals of my own ( cats) thank you for ready and have a wonderful day!
