Duties - money management, help with house chores. Make the individual try to be independent. Medication, morning and night I will give it to them. -also know the population well of people with special needs throughout special Olympics as well.

Interviewed Elyssa and spent time contacting her references. Offered her the job and tried to schedule a time for her to come to the house, meet my daughter and complete the paperwork (hours paid through agency). She did not have any time over a 2 week time period to do this. I finally expressed concern about how was she going to work/care for my daughter if she didn't have any time to complete the paperwork. I did not receive a response. I also have a friend that recently hired her directly to watch her daughter on a Saturday night. Elyssa called out with little notice. Very frustrating.
