Hi! I started working with a special needs kiddo in high school and absolutely fell in love with the job. It prompted me to get my undergrad at University of Kansas in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism specifically. I worked on campus in "Little Steps" and "KEAP" (Kansas early autism program) and also did my one year practicum there. From there I headed to Colorado where I begun working for a Behavioral Service company (currently still employed there). My hours are flexible and most of my clients are seen in the late afternoon. I m looking to supplement my time with something meaningful to me and make a little extra weekly income so I can save up for wedding expenses this fall! I have a reliable 2008 Toyota Camry that has been a great car to me for the past three years. I love being outdoors, fishing, playing with my adorable chocolate labradoodle, reading and crafting! Ellen is truly one of a kind. It's been hard to find anyone as responsible, considerate, punctual, and accommodating as she! Ellen was exceptional with all three of my children and really catered to the needs of my boys who both have special needs. She has a natural/genuine gift with children from all backgrounds and it is so comforting and heart warming to know families can benefit from these gifts! We never worried or wondered when our children were in her care and always knew they were in a safe and loving environment and having the time of their lives. My oldest daughter often begged for mom and dad to go out so Ellen could come play!! Any family would be incredibly lucky to have an Ellen in their lives.
