I worked as a Medical Social Worker for years with children and families with special needs, and prior to that as a Mental Health Therapist with both youth and adults. Sudden hearing loss several years ago interrupted my ability to work in my profession, but I'm still a social worker at heart and have maintained my LCSW license all these years. I hear adequately in a quiet environment and know some ASL. I have a love of people of all ages and bring a lot to the table. I'm patient, positive, empathetic and humorous. Am seeking part time work close to my home in SW Portland to give back and utilize some of my gifts.
