Hi, my name is Dawn. I am a certified licensed teacher who after 30 years of teaching decided it was time to move on to new experiences. Most recently I have been working as a behaviorist for preschool and elementary children. I am artistic, creative and thoroughly enjoy children. I am also a mother of two boys. I believe that all children should be nurtured to reach their fullest potential in all areas of life, no matter what their learning challenges may be. My teaching philosophy is to empower children, ignite their creativity and build a strong sense of self, allowing them to enjoy the process of learning. A child is never to young to encourage, enrich and expose them to listening to stories, shared experiences and the joy that life has to offer. Dawn has always shown herself to be a person with good judgement and of a responsible nature. She is good at thinking outside of the box and is able solve life's situations quite well. I have always known her to be a person who "runs with the ball". She gets things done and does them thoroughly and correctly, a real "mover"-type personality.
