Hello My name is Davina, I am 19 years old. I do not have any personal experiences, but I am interested in caring for an elderly. I once had a grandma who we couldn't take care of at one point because of the work style my parents had with there business. As much as us kids wanted to help, with school in the way we couldn't do as much as we wanted. We had no choice but to out her in an old age home. Now I knew she didn't want to go nor I, but that was are only option. When we would visit her I would visit the other elderly, and somehow I had great connections with these people. And you know what all they wanted was someone to be there for them and sit down and listen to them. Of what ever they had in mind. These folks would love when I walked in the room. I understood how lonely they were when there was no one to talk to. Most of them didn't have family's that cared and just put them there because they thought they were a hassle.
