My current job is my passion. As a Washington State Certified Behavioral Technician, I administer behavioral plans through positive reinforcement, as well as emotional guidance, and support to kids on the spectrum at The Academy for Precision Learning. I administer daily behavioral work in a classroom setting. Working with learners from the age range of 4-17 years old. Many of these kids come to us with the message their differences make them less than. I find it a necessity in life that our kids can learn to feel empowered by their differences from the neurotypical. My message will always tell our kids just because our brains work differently, does not mean that they are not broken, or less capable. Our differences are exactly what makes them great, with so much to offer to the world. My job is to give them the tools, and help them gain that confidence that's hiding inside every single one of them.
