Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a professional artist with 4 years of childcare experience. I have worked as a babysitter, home health aid, and respite provider both independently and through an agency. I have experience working with ages ranging from 10 months old to young adults. In addition, I also have experience working with children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Working as a respite care provider and home health aid, I have worked with individuals who have Down Syndrome, Autism, Hydrocephalus, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, and other various developmental delays. All of the disabilities have ranged from mild to severe. I worked with individual service plans, helped with communication and behavioral problems, monitored therapeutic sessions, worked with health related equipment such as feeding tubes and hoyer lifts, and provided safe and encouraging environments for individuals to thrive. As an artist and childcare provider, I really enjoy bridging the gap between the two and being a creative outlet for each individual. I love finding that imaginative spark and catering activities towards what they love! Playing musical instruments, singing, dancing, making jewelry, drawing and painting, and acting out theatrical plays are just a few of the fun activities I have had with the individuals I ve watched. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car, valid drivers license, and a clean driving record. I m a non-smoker and an animal lover. I have two cats of my own, named Minnie and Winston.
