Hello, my name is Brooke. My recent job experience was at a highschool as a Behavior Interventionist. I implemented behavior plans, along with speech and communication plans. My primary 2 students were non verbal. Before that I was with a young female with special needs. She had many different medical needs and she ran a business out of her home that required help from her caregivers. It's with a heavy hear that I tell you she recently passed away. I loved working with her and am looking for work with another family. My job experience in the past includes work in an inpatient psychiatric facility and intermittent jobs with young kiddos. I am familiar with CPR and first aid training (used to be certified but it has recently lapsed. can get re-certified). I have a 2018 SUV with car seat friendly seats. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Brooke had been an invaluable asset to our daughter's medical and educational team. Brooke was always attentive to our daughter's extensive medical and educational needs. Brooke was able to take direction in a moments notice and adapt to a new way of assisting our daughter with her needs. I never feared that she wouldn't do what she was instructed to do to the extent of being trained in G tube care, central line care, catheter care, and TPN set up and disconnecting. Brooke was thoughtful in her interactions with our non-verbal daughter and always afforded our daughter with time to get her intentions across with non-verbal cues. Our daughter blossomed under Brooke's care and was very happy over the last 8 months with her. Brooke is a team player working with the school system, VT Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, VT I-Team (UVM), Vocational Rehab to help our daughter start her own business, Palliative care program's music therapy, and medical team. She's wonderful!
