Hello, my name is Brittany. In 2015 I started my journey as a home health aide worker. A journey that has undoubtedly changed my life for the better. I first started working with individuals of all ages whom had developmental & intellectual disabilities. After 3 years, I stepped into a team lead position within the company and over saw multiple individuals in separate houses with a wide range of (dis)abilities. During the last year, I started training with individuals who have severe behavior disorders. After all the training I went through I'm proud to say I have received multiple certifications in First Aid/AED/CPR, L1ma, & MANDT. I'm also well versed in using shower chairs, different types of Hoyer lifts and electric wheelchairs. While working in home health I've been able to brush up on my everyday cooking and cleaning skills. I must say, I think I'm pretty good. I've also been trained how to prep food with different types dietary restrictions.
