I am pleased to write a recommendation for Breanna for your para-educator position. Breanna worked in my self-contained special education class serving students with moderate to severe disabilities. Breanna's teaching ability, flexibility and interactions with the students were always incredible. She has an innate ability to adjust to student's individual needs and you can see her joy when working with the students on a daily basis. I worked closely with Breanna over the last year, and have had an opportunity to get to know her and can thoroughly vouch for her character and abilities. Breanna is a pleasure to work with because her positive, calm, professional and caring attitude. Breanna quickly jumped into my classroom in February and with in a few days was a member of the team and was not only supporting and teaching students but was also helping other para-educators when they asked. She quickly learned the classroom behavior system, lesson structures, and schedule. Breanna was reliable and trust worthy. I often assigned her to work with some of the harder groups and to take the more challenging students into the community as she has wonderful judgment. Breanna's professional and positive character was demonstrated when she joined our classroom team. She got along with all members of the classroom. Breanna was also quickly noticed by the admin on our campus. They admired her positive interactions with students and how she stayed student focused at all times. This school year Breanna helped two new para-educators learn the classroom routines, behavior plans, and academic lessons. She made herself available to them as needed and was a great help to me in being willing to train others. She is a leader in our classroom and I am sad that she will no longer be a part of our classroom team. I highly recommend Breanna as a para-educator.
