Hi, I'm April! I am currently a junior in college and am in the process of getting a minor in Early Childhood Education and a major in Environmental Science. This summer I interned at an Environmental Education Center, working with kids of all different backgrounds. We learned about the beauty of nature together, which was really beautiful to witness. My main purpose was to foster curiosity in kids about their environment through hands-on learning experiences. I worked with kids with special needs at the center and at the Montessori, I was a teaching assistant at last year. Differentiated educational approaches should be inherent in the education system. Ensuring equitable educational opportunities for all is something I am extremely passionate about in gaining my minor in Early Childhood Education. Thank you for your consideration!
