I have several years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in various settings and babysitting children. In 2018 I got my first job working with children with autism at AutismUp in Rochester, New York. At this job I had the opportunity to assist children while participating in classes such as art, music, fitness, and more. During my undergraduate education at University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) I worked at the Autism Society of North Carolina and Behavioral Consultations and Psychological Services (BCPS), both located in Wilmington, North Carolina. At the Autism Society I provided care for a child with Autism in his home, I focused on helping him develop social skills, play skills, and provided support with online school activities. BCPS is an applied behavioral analysis (ABA) clinic that allowed me to use my undergraduate degree in ABA to help multiple children with autism with communication, social skills, education, and more.
