I have decades of experience caring for children of all ages and abilities. I was a gymnastics instructor for 9 years, worked as a childcare provider and parent-educator for 3 years, and spent many years babysitting, and caring for my own children (now 12, 8, and 3) while homeschooling them full-time (they are now in school). I worked as a physical therapy tech for 3 years. I have training in child-development and CPR. I have cared for children with mild to severe autism, Asperger, downs syndrome, blindness, deafness, ADD, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and both physical and cognitive developmental delays. I see the whole child, not defined only by a diagnosis. I will learn any new information specific to your child's needs. I speak English and some Spanish. I also know a bit of ASL. I am gentle and loving, and I set clear boundaries for children. Kids are really a joy to be with! I look forward to meeting you and yours! Currently available for occasional care or weekly meal prep services.

Amy has a passion for caring for people. My kids feel comfortable around her because of the care she takes in tending to their needs. It's hard to find quality care for my son with special needs, and he immediately trusted her because she knew how to connect with him. She's respectful, kind, patient, and creative. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a dependable caretaker for their loved ones, young or advanced in years.
