Hi! My name is Amy. I have a BA from LIU in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I taught nursery school for over 15 yrs, toddlers-Pre-K. Since 2007, I have been employed with the Hicksville SD, as a Certified Special Education Assistant weekday mornings since 2007-Present For the last 12 years, I have worked with children that have Tourettes, Down Syndrome, Varying levels of autism on the spectrum, as well as learning delayed. I love my school job, and the teachers and administrators that I work with are very happy and appreciative to have me. I cared for a 6m old baby Summer 2019. This baby has seizures, hypertonia, eye disorders, etc I'm seeking A P/T Afternoon position for 1 child with "special needs." 20 hrs-ish (Ex: M-F 1-5 p.m. .. 2:30-6:30, etc) *Syos/ Plainv/ Woodb/Jericho areas Both my professional & personal references are impeccable, & can be provided upon request.
