I just arrived home from being a Live-In nanny in Australia to a 5-year-old boy with speech and developmental delays. I was also caring for his 1-year-old typically developing bother. I am an experienced respite care provider, nanny, and behavior therapist. I have been a respite caregiver for children with Autism, intellectual disabilities, global development delay, cerebral palsy, San fillipo syndrome, and down syndrome for over 2 years. I also worked in a classroom for children with autism providing behavior support and opportunities for independence. My experience with children continues as this is only my work specifically with individuals with disabilities.
