My educational background is in human development and early childhood disorders. My concentration is in child life where I help pediatric patients and families cope with their diagnosis and hospitalization. In addition to working with patients with special needs, I have also been an in-home caregiver for children with special needs and developmental delay. it is so important for parents and families to have respite care available to them, so they are able to best support their children. My goal while working with children and families is to provide exceptional child- and family-centered care and to be an additional resource and support for the family.
