Hello! My name is Amanda, I've worked with people who have developmental disabilities for over the last 3 years. I have worked in very low functioning houses assisting with all ADLS. I have truly grown a love and compassion for this field. I have also taught in the special education department through my agency for a year, teaching young adults between the ages of 14-21 years old. I have a very understanding and relaxed approach to my teaching method. I go at my students pace and will break things down as needed for them. In my experience I have taught life skills, career skills and just about everything to make the people I support as independent as possible. I look forward to working with you and your family!
