My brother was diagnosed at the age of 3 with autism. My mother paved a way for my brother in the public school system and work with the department of rehab to make paths for my brother's art. Now he is a college graduate who made the deans list and is currently applying for jobs in creature design. Seeing this growth inspired me to get even more involved with children with special needs and I began volunteering under a special needs educator at my church to conduct the Sunday school class for children with special needs in elementary and middle school. This taught me how to keep the structure needed to complete activities and the flexibility to prevent any triggers and to ensure the enjoyment and peace of the student. I created and conducted lessen plans that could keep 4-10 children of varying learning levels involved. Working with children with special needs is a passion for me and brings me a great amount of joy. I want to help your child reach their utmost potential.

Allison was a great babysitter and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a smart, engaging and compassionate babysitter. Both my daughter and son loved Allison because "she played with us". As a parent, Allison was responsible, responsive -and respectful of our family routine. My daughter has special needs, including de developmental delays and epilepsy. I had complete faith in Allison. My daughter is asking me when is the next date night so Allison can come back.
