I feel blessed to be able to assist parents with their most precious gifts. I have been assisting them for 12 years. I understand that every child is unique. I admire their strength, passion, kindness, sincerity and innocence. I believe we all have a gift in this life and mine is to care for children. I have experience in in-home care. I have worked under the training and supervision of registered nurses. I have experience with children with Rhett's syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, mild and severe, all levels of autism, Down syndrome, ADD and speech deficiency. I also know some American Sign Language that I have learned over the years by working and communicating with children with speech impairment. I have experience in caring for premature babies. I help with respiratory and stimulation treatments. I believe I have the experience to care for any child that needs me. My duties and responsibilities at the homes are administering medication, diaper change, feeding, G-tube feedings, cooking, cleaning, laundry, colostomy, Accu-checks, taking vitals, seizures, showers, etc. I have experience in almost every need. I did a special training on caring for diabetics and another one on crisis preventing intervention. I am a Certified Medical Assistant. I am CPR, First Aid certified. I have a clean driving record and my own reliable transportation. My background check is on file. I promise that under my care parents will have peace of mind.
