I feel blessed to be able to assist parents with their most precious gifts. I have been assisting them for 12 years. I understand that every child is unique. I help with respiratory and stimulation treatments. I believe I have the experience to care for any child that needs me. My duties and responsibilities at the homes are administering medication, diaper change, feeding, G-tube feedings, cooking, cleaning, laundry, colostomy, Accu-checks, taking vitals, seizures, showers, etc. I have experience in almost every need. I did a special training on caring for diabetics and another one on crisis preventing intervention. I am a Certified Medical Assistant. I am CPR, First Aid certified. I have a clean driving record and my own reliable transportation. My background check is on file. I promise that under my care parents will have peace of mind. I do not take this lightly when I say that Alicia has literally been the best sitter/nanny that we ever had! She works great with my kids--so much so that my autistic son gets really upset when she has to leave at the end of her shift. She just has a special way with kids. I just wish there were more caring and involved people like her.
