I currently work in a group home for the Arc of Washington County supporting persons to better enable them to achieve their highest quality of life. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and I have my Medication Technician certificate. I've worked with individuals with persons impacted by schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, as well as individuals with Cerebral Palsy, muscular dystrophy, self-abusive behaviors, eating disorders, delayed auditory and speech, seizures and epilepsy. I pass all of their meds, help them shower and dress, provide all of their meals and run transport. We go on outings, or sit and color and do +300 piece puzzles. I'm very committed to the people we serve and for advocating for them as well.
