Hi I'm Alexis! I have been nannying for 5 years now, I have cared for two type 1 diabetics thus far and find it the most joyous thing in the world. I am a type 1 diabetic myself, so there's nothing better than being able to care for kiddos who have been just diagnosed, still learning about the disease, or just being an extra set of hands. Because I am type 1, I know how to effectively treat lows, highs, give injections, and check blood sugars. I'm also currently in school to become a clinical psychologist to eventually go on to work with kids in the psych field! Message me with any questions you may have :)
