Job# 60908: 2 Boys and a Baby on the Way Need a Nanny in Centennial: (S University Blvd & E Arapahoe Rd) Message from Mom: We are a family of four and going to be a family of 5 around February 2021. We also have a dog and a bunny, both very behaved. We have used a nanny for the past 3 years or so and we have found it is best for our family. Our boys are very polite but energetic. They listen very well to their caregivers. They love to be outside exploring. We try to keep tv and pads at a minimum because we believe interaction with people and outside is important for many reasons. They keep an organized schedule for their health and our happiness. Dad works an 8am to 5pm job and is currently working from home due to COVID. Mom works as a respiratory therapist at a nearby hospital and her schedule fluctuates week to week but she works 2 days a week (24 hours) at a maximum. We are very flexible and will work our schedule around the right person for our family. We view our nanny as part of our family. About the Children: Our 6-year-old son will be attending 1st grade in person in elementary school one block away. He may need some tutoring if school is closed due to COVID. He is energetic, smart, and athletic. He loves art projects and things to keep him busy. Our 4-year-old son is trying to be very independent. He will be attending a preschool program about one mile away from our home. This will be his first year being away from his home for learning. He is very intelligent and has the memory of an elephant. We are expecting our third child in February. Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny would be someone that truly likes to interact with our boys. They come up with fun games or activities here and there to keep them entertained and not asking for tv or a pad. Someone that is ok touching bugs and dirt and throwing or kicking a ball. Our ideal nanny would understand that they would be a constant in their lives besides us and someone we can all trust with our health and well-being. COVID-19 Precautions: Please describe in detail any precautions you and your family are taking in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak. Playdates only outside for certain families/children that follow our guidelines. Everyone in our family wears a mask in public. No guests staying in our house. Very strict hand washing and sanitizing. What precautions would you expect of your nanny during the COVID-19 outbreak? Hand washing, mask-wearing, honesty about how many contacts, preferably no large group gatherings over 10 people. Let us know if they are going to be leaving the state and/or flying. Is there anything else your nanny would need to know about how you and your family are adapting COVID-19? We are fairly strict due to me expecting and our children possibly having some immune issues and asthma. Additional Job Details: Driving to drop and pickup from schools (walking to elementary school) Preschool is 9am to 12pm Monday - Thursday First Grade is 8am until 245pm Monday- Friday Playing and teaching them when not in school Preparing meals for children only Proper mask and hand hygiene Nanny will need to drive their own vehicle. Gas mileage will be reimbursed. Start Date: asap Expected Job Duration: One year+ Duties: Light housekeeping, cooking for children, misc errands Schedule: 20 hours to 30 hours per week (flexible) 2-3 days per week.
