Walker, Sitter & Trainer
Similar to many people, I am a big animal lover. I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and several species of marine mammals in recent years. I have various experience owning and pet sitting breeds such as Golden Retrievers, Great Danes, Huskies, Pointer/Labs and Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collies. In college, I spent a year volunteering at the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter, which gave me good experience working with not only large dogs, but small ones. I had to learn about the various challenges of working with different breeds, as well as potential difficulties encountered when walking them. Not only do I have experience with dogs, but with marine mammals such as sea otters, seals and sea lions. I am currently a research assistant at Long Marine Lab, and help train the seals and sea lions there. I am a hard-worker, and spend a lot of time outdoors - no matter the weather.

Companion Care For Seniors
Recently I was a companion for a man that not only had Alzheimer's but also Glioblastoma. He sadly passed at the end of August 2019. In addition, my mother who had dementia needed extra care that my sister and I provided for years. She passed at age 94 this year. I now have time to devote to another person who needs extra care. It could be outings, playing cards, talking, assisting with meal prep and feeding and going to appointments.
