My name is Nancy and I'm looking for someone to help take care of my 82-year-old mother every other Saturday and every Sunday (~4 hours per day split into two shifts). My mother has Alzheimer's, but her personality is very nice and gentle however, her vocabulary is limited. She can still dress herself and walk around but she needs someone to make her a meal, ensure she's drinking enough fluids, help her take her meds, and ensure her cat has food/water. I know she gets lonely so it would be great to sit with her and keep her company. The ideal person will also be comfortable doing very light chores. Looking for a kind-hearted caregiver who is a non-smoker, very reliable, and ideally CPR / first-aid trained.
