Help needed for my father in his 60s - seeking part-time hands-on care. I am looking for someone that can visit my father 2x a week for several hours at a time to help with bathing, laundry, general tidying up, and companionship. He has mobility issues which limit his ability to safely bathe and perform basic tasks at his home like changing his bedding, carrying groceries in from his vehicle, checking the mailbox, taking the garbage out, etc. As such, some tidying up is involved. Further, I am looking for someone who can provide a sense of companionship and social interaction as he is fairly isolated and lonely. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and has a sense of humor as he likes to joke around.
